Reverend Kelley Wehmeyer Shin is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Divinity Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
She was ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1987 and has served Memorial since February 2010. She has also served congregations in California, Illinois, New Mexico, Florida and Nevada. She is a member of the Presbytery of the Miami Valley where she serves on the Staff Support Committee.
Kelley and her husband, Kent, have three children: Darren, Matthew and Rosemary. Kent, a violinist and golfer, is a retired United States Air Force officer and is employed in the Defense Industry. Darren is an actor and singer living in Los Angeles. Matthew is a student at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music studying cello performance. Rosemary is a Senior at Centerville High School and dances at the Dayton Ballet School. Kelley and her family live in Centerville, Ohio.
She enjoys bird watching, walking her dog, reading, and the camaraderie of fellow clergy.
